Yes! But we have 2 basketball bands (Red & Silver). This means you will play at about 15 games during the year with the opportunity to play at more. Those who have a class conflict with a game can find a sub and receive no penalty.

Students are provided the Howlers shirt free of charge. They must provide black pants and neutral colored, closed-toed shoes.

Both groups receive a scholarship after the season is over. Volleyball: $45-55 per game. Basketball: $35-45 per game. If a student already receives the maximum amount of scholarship/federal aid, the scholarship will not be allowed to be put in their account per financial aid guidelines.

Howlers Basketball Band will have the opportunity to travel to Pensacola, FL at the beginning of March for the conference tournament. If either team wins, there will be another opportunity to travel to the NCAA tournament (March Madness).
